The Tommie women's tennis team closes its regular season with tough matches next weekend, April 20-21, against regionally-ranked Carleton and Gustavus.
The Toms are expected to finish fifth in the final MIAC standings and reach the playoffs.
St. Thomas (10-5 overall, 6-2 MIAC) has a young squad with mostly freshman and sophomores in its lineup.
The Toms dropped an 8-1 decision to St. Olaf Saturday at the St. Paul Academy courts in St. Paul. Greg Smith took action photos at this competition and they are on display here.
